How do I apply for food stamps/SNAP separately from parents?

I've read that if someone is 22 or older then they may apply separately from parents if living in the same household, but my question is how?? My parents are not on any benefits, but I'm 22 I just got off active duty from the military a few months ago and moved back with them. I'm in the Navy Reserves and only make 180 a month, and I buy my own food and pay my loan and phone, so it doesn't leave much left over. But when filling out the application, it says what is the total number of people in your household and what is their income...do I only include myself or all of them too?(parents and two brothers). My dad makes too much money for benifits, so how am I able to file separately, unless I only speak of myself....so confused. Thanks in advance. And for the record, I've always been against public assistance, but I figure that I've fought 5 years for freedom and payed into other people's assistance, that now it's time I get to take advantage of the opportunity. My parents are moving in August, and I'll be moving with them (which is why I'm not looking a job and then have to quit in 2 months) This is only temporary until we move and I find a job and start school.
